Terms of use
The practical rules and limitations that apply when using this community project.
Last updated July 20, 2026
1. Accepting these terms
By using AoEwhathappend, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is provided as an independent community project.
2. Informational service only
Reports are generated for entertainment, learning, and general coaching. They are not official tournament decisions, professional advice, anti-cheat determinations, or guaranteed statements of fact.
3. AI-generated reports
AI can produce incomplete, outdated, or incorrect conclusions. You are responsible for checking important claims against the replay and public source data. Do not use an AI report to harass, defame, or accuse another player of cheating or misconduct.
4. Public data and third-party services
The service depends on AoE4World, Supabase, Google Gemini, and hosting infrastructure. Their availability, data, limits, and policies can change. The project does not control or guarantee third-party services.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not overload, scrape in bulk, probe, bypass limits, or interfere with the website or the AoE4World API.
- Do not attempt to access private matches, private data, credentials, or systems without authorization.
- Do not present AI analysis as an official ruling or use it to target another person.
- Do not reproduce game assets or data in ways that violate applicable third-party rules or rights.
6. Intellectual property
Age of Empires IV and its game content belong to Microsoft and their respective rights holders. AoE4World data and assets remain subject to their applicable terms and notices. Your use of this project does not grant ownership of third-party names, trademarks, data, or assets.
7. Availability and changes
The service may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Saved analyses may be removed, and there is no guarantee that a particular match can be found or analysed.
8. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the project operator is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on AI output, unavailable third-party services, deleted data, or misuse of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Updates
These terms may be revised as the project changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
